Bart Stellinga is wetenschappelijk medewerker bij de WRR. Hij studeerde Politicologie (MSc) en Wijsbegeerte (MA) aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam. Bij de WRR was hij eerder verbonden aan de projecten ‘Markt, staat en samenleving’, 'Voedsel', en 'Financialisering'. Ook werkte hij als onderzoeker bij de Eerste Kamer voor het ‘Parlementair onderzoek naar privatisering en verzelfstandiging van overheidsdiensten’. Hij promoveerde aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam op het proefschrift The financial valuation crisis.
